It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend, colleague, and mentor, Pete Diskon. Pete was the always recognisable voice on the station and as a long-time presenter and valued member of our Management Committee, Pete didn’t just meet the standard—he set it. Pete’s legacy lives on in the many presenters he assisted in learning how to sound great on air. His passion for high-quality broadcasting, and a generous spirit that helped so many of us find our confidence behind the microphone. We are a better station because of Pete’s wisdom and experience. He will be deeply missed by the committee, our volunteers, and his many loyal listeners. Rest in peace, Pete. Thank you for everything.
